Austin Casting Call – “Our Lady of 121st Street”
Scene from the Play “Our Lady of 121st Street” (Short)
An in-person performance and filming of a scene from the classic play “Our Lady of 121st Street.”
Will be edited into a finished, polished product! It’s a very emotional scene that occurs between two gay men, struggling with each other as they accept their identities and place within the world as a couple.
***This scene contains strong language/slurs. ***
I’m a UT Radio-TV-Film student, reproducing a scene from the play as an exercise for class.
The scene will be recorded, and performed once in person.
It will be a short presentation and one day of filming, and a great opportunity to get exposure to a group of talented young filmmakers that work in the Austin area.
